Open doors! Visit Atyla in Plymouth:
Where? See location below
Unfortunately this year we won’t be in the moored in the Barbican. We’ll be in front of the harbour, attached to two buoys in the water.
This means that you won’t be able to visit us on board, but of course you’ll be able to see the ship.
We’ll also have a booth in the festival area. Find us on our red booth with the Atyla Foundation flag to watch our welcome video, and to check our cool souvenirs.
In case you want, you can donate to our Scholarship Fund. You can drop donations in the treasure chest that we’ll have at the booth, or through this page.
If you take pictures of Atyla and post them on social media, please mention us: @atyla_ship
You can see here how the ship looks inside.

What is Atyla ship?
A unique ship from Spain that sails around the world
Today, Atyla is the only Spanish wooden ship that regularly participates in international regattas of tall ships and sail training ships. In these regattas, Atyla often receives the prize for the most international crew.
Atyla has been all around Europe, and as far as Russia and Canada in the last 6 years. All of this happens as a charity foundation that promotes life skills like emotional intelligence and intercultural communication.

Can I join a trip?
Yes you can! Our trips are open for anyone who wants to enjoy an adventure, learn new things and meet other explorers.
You join as part of the crew, and get to participate in all the sailing activities, including taking the helm!
