Here you can see all our confirmed sailing trips. From this page it only takes a few clicks to book your adventure onboard ATYLA. After booking you’ll receive an email confirmation including all the information you’ll need to prepare for your voyage.
And remember that our voyages are different every year. Sign up to our mailing list to be informed about new destinations.
Can I book more than one voyage?Of course! Each of our voyages is unique and there is no maximum stay on board. We actually recommend people to join us for at least 2 weeks to fully experience our educational programme and the different activities on board.
How is the booking process? How do I pay? Is it safe?
To book a trip you just need to click on one of the voyages and select “book this trip”, this will get you to the checkout page where you can introduce your data and do the payment.
To book more than one place of the same voyage, or several voyages in the same booking, go back to the page with the voyage’s information and click “book this trip” again. They will add to your cart, and you’ll be able to check your final selection before confirming and paying.
All our voyages are booked through a webshop system called Bigcartel because it allows payments using PayPal, credit card or debit card in a secure way while complying with all standards of data protection. You can also use Bitcoin to pay, send us an email to learn how.
If you experience any problems during the payment process send us an email we’ll allow you to pay with a bank transfer.
What will my shipmates be like? Will they be much older/younger than me?
Diversity is one of the elements that make the experience on ATYLA so special. Our trips gather people from different countries, with different professions and different social backgrounds. Because Trainees on board ATYLA live together in a community comprised of so many different perspectives, the conversations on board are often very interesting and enriching.
The age range on ATYLA is also very broad. The ages of the people on board normally span from 16 to 55 years of age. No matter what’s the case on your voyage(s), on board we always use the generational diversity as a tool, not only to make everyone feel integrated, but also because is great to learn, work and make friends with people of ages very different to yours.
At what time is the embarkation and the disembarkation? How do I find the ship in the port?
Times and locations for each voyage can be found on this Timeline. You will also receive further details on your booking confirmation email.
What do I need to bring with me?
Nothing special, the same as any other outdoors adventure. On your booking confirmation you’ll receive a document with a detailed list of what to bring.
What if the voyage I want to do is sold out?
We recommend you to find a different voyage that you can do, since normally our trips get sold out with confirmed reservations. In any case, you can send us an email and we’ll let you know if there are any cancellations.
I really can’t afford to pay, can I still join?
As a social non-for-profit organisation, we don’t want to exclude anyone from participating in our voyages because they lack the funds. If you can’t afford a trip because of your (or your family’s) low-income, please apply for one of our Scholarships.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please see here our Cancellation Policy.
