The famous wooden sailing ship Atyla from Spain will moor in Puerto Sherry for a few days before going to the Canary Islands.

With its two masts, black sails and the #ATYLAship sign in the wheelhouse, the ship will attract the attention of thousands of people in the city.

What is Atyla ship?

A unique ship from Spain that sails around the world

Atyla is a classic sailing vessel built between Soria and Vizcaya in the 80s. It was built following the designs of the ships in the XVIII century. Its history is incredible, check it out here.

Today, Atyla is the only Spanish wooden ship that regularly participates in the international regattas of tall ships and sail training ships. In those regattas, Atyla often receives the price to the most international crew.

Atyla has been all around Europe, and as far as Russia and Canada in the last 6 years. All of this, run by a charity that promotes life skills like emotional intelligence and intercultural communication.
