The tall ship Atyla is visiting Pasaia
As part of its 2022 sailing season, the famous historic ship Atyla will stop in Pasaia (Pasajes) to participate in the Pasaia Intenational Maritime Festival 2022. With its pirate looks and black sails, the ship will attract the attention of thousands of people in the city.

During this stay, it will be possible to visit the ship Atyla in Pasaia (see below). There will be also several activities happening on the ship as part of the Pasaia Itsas Festibala 2022.

You don’t need to reserve or get a ticket for the visit. Just show up and get in the queue if there is one.
As part of our participation in the maritime festival, the visits on board will be for free, but we always appreciate donations to our Scholarship Fund. You can drop donations in the treasure chest that we have on board, or through this page.
How is the visit? Our crew will welcome you on board and play a video that shows the ship in action. Then you'll be able to walk around the deck and read several banners with interesting information and engaging questions.

Access to the ship's interiors is normally not allowed, but you can look through the windows to see how it looks inside or see them here.

What is Atyla ship?
A unique ship from Spain that sails around the world
Today, Atyla is the only Spanish wooden ship that regularly participates in international regattas of tall ships and sail training ships. In these regattas, Atyla often receives the prize for the most international crew.
Atyla has been all around Europe, and as far as Russia and Canada in the last 6 years. All of this happens as a charity foundation that promotes life skills like emotional intelligence and intercultural communication.
Can I join a trip?
Yes you can! Our trips are open for anyone who wants to enjoy an adventure, learn new things and meet other explorers.
You join as part of the crew, and get to participate in all the sailing activities, including taking the helm!
