Cancellation policy for Day Trips

This policy applies to any booking made on our excursions page.

COVID-19 CANCELLATIONS:

FAIR REFUND POLICY

In case you can’t do your trip because of Covid-19 (this includes also if need to quarantine because you were in touch with a person that tested positive):

  • Please get in touch as much in advance as possible.
  • We will send you a voucher for the full amount you paid. This voucher doesn’t have an expiration date and is not limited to bookings on your name.
  • If you have financial difficulties, you can get in touch and we’ll consider a money refund.

In case your trip gets cancelled because of Covid-19 regulations/restrictions/related issues:*

  • We will let you know as much in advance as possible.
  • We will send you a voucher for the full amount you paid. This voucher doesn’t have an expiration date and is not limited to bookings on your name.
  • You are legally entitled to get a full money refund of any portion of the voucher you haven’t used after 12 months of the cancellation, but since the voucher doesn’t expire, we kindly ask you to keep the voucher, for whenever you want to do the trip, or to give someone a really nice present.
  • Nevertheless, if before that date you have financial difficulties, you can get in touch and we’ll consider an early money refund.

We hope you understand this policy and find it fair.

These terms apply as an improvement of our normal cancellation policy (see below), but if you prefer those other terms, you can adhere to them instead.

NORMAL CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES:

If you need to cancel your trip(s) for any reason, you can get a refund according to the following percentages:

  • 75% if you cancel 2 weeks before the trip’s start date.
  • 50% if you cancel 1 week before the trip’s start date.
  • 0% if you cancel less than a week before the trip’s start date.

You can ask for a change of date/time for your reservation up to 7 days before the start of your current booking by emailing salidas@atyla.org. The change is subject to availability and will have a cost of 3€ per person rebooked.

You can also do the following at any time:

  • Get your money back by finding a person to replace you.
  • Gift your trip to a family member or a good friend.
  • Donate your trip to our Financial Aid Fund which will give someone from an underprivileged background the opportunity to take your spot.
