The Atyla family
Many people collaborate (or have collaborated) as crew members, or during the winter works or on office tasks.
They contribute their time, ideas and even money because they believe in what Atyla does.
They have helped the project to be what it is and they are an essential part of the Atyla Foundation. Without them, this would not be possible. That’s why they appear first on this page.

Chairman and captain
He sails on Atyla since he was 3 years old. His charisma and his leadership are a source of inspiration for everyone.
Kasia Wojciechowska
Onboard administration
She started as a winter volunteer and watch leader in 2016. Her implication and her skills made her indispensable.
Alfonso Garzón
Head of operations
He left his “normal” job in 2014 to help build this project. His vision and dedication made Atyla what it is today.
Inés Zalba
Partnerships
She was part of the team that built Atyla in the 80s. Now she’s back making history again.
Laureano Boyero
Chief engineer
For years, he used to come and help on board as a volunteer. In 2022 he finally joined the permanent crew.

Treasury and administration
Sisters of Esteban Vicente, they’re always ready to help with whatever paperwork is needed.
Enaitz Semperena
Communications manager
He started as coach on board in 2022. He now uses his skills to keep communications smooth.
Mikel Monje
Land support
He joined as a participant in 2016 and fell in love with the project, since then he’s always been there and he’s become vital.
